Rose Tincture (50ml)

$25.00

This beautiful bright pink English shrub rose (Rosa canina) first flowered in early November and continued through early December, producing a beautifully aromatic and medicinal rose, bringing support and cooling to multiple body systems.

Roses have a cooling, sour and astringent effect on the tissue, with anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and nervine actions.

Rose is traditionally revered for supporting the heart through grief and heartache, anxiety, depression and stress, an ancient remedy spanning across multiple cultures.

Use: Irregularities in the rhythm of the heart, mental restlessness, excess sympathetic stimulation (leading to insomnia, anxiety, and tension in the nerves and vasculature), and high blood pressure.

Red flushing of the skin, headaches and other general heat signs (aversion to warm weather, excessive sweating, irritability, inflammation.)

Slow digestion, diarrhoea, upper respiratory congestion, irritating cough.

Rose is very helpful for upper respiratory congestion in the nose, throat, mouth, sinus and bronchi as it helps to reduce inflammations and cool irritated tissues. Rose also may be used to break up dry mucus congestion and aid sore throats while also helping to reduce runny secretions due to its astringent action.

Dosage: 1-2 ml (20-40 drops) up to three times a day as desired. Directly under tongue or in water.

Caution: Caution during kidney disease, breastfeeding & pregnancy.
