Sleep Support Tincture (California Poppy) Various sizes

from $23.00

Back in stock 16th February 2025.

California poppy is classified as a bitter nervine sedative that gently calms the nervous system; supports sleep, and relaxes tension of smooth muscles; helping to ease pain, cramping and spasms in the gut and uterus.

May support with: anxiety, insomnia, hyperexcitability 'busy' mind, menstrual cramps, headaches, neuropathy (nerve damage), toothaches.

Dosage: For sleep onset, drink 2.5ml before bed (approx 2 droppers) in a little water or under the tongue. For pain, spasms, cramping and toothaches, the max daily dose recommended is 6ml.

You may wish to work with smaller ‘drop doses’ taking l-8 drops daily, gently receiving the ‘spirit’ of this plant throughout your day. Drop doses are less potent and more energetic, safe to use during the day with a less sedative effect, I have recently started taking drop doses of one tincture over a moon cycle and find it a beautiful meditative practice.

Contains: (1:3) Fresh homegrown California Poppy (Eschsholzia californica), 60% Alcohol.

Safety: Not safe for pregnancy or children. Does not contain opium, may have an additive (increased therapeutic or adverse) effect when used with benzodiazepines and sedatives.

Speak to a health care professional if unsure if safe to take with existing medications.
