Introduction to Herbal Preparation Making Workshop

Discover grass-roots herbalism & hands-on, practical methods for wildcrafting, processing and making your own herbal preparations to take home.

Located in the Shed Behind the Barn at Fair Harvest Permaculture Farm from 9.30am to 3.00pm on Sunday, 12 December 2021.

Topics we will cover (with take-home resources for further learning):
- Herbalism on stolen land & decolonising herbalism discussion
- Common medicinal/edible weed and plant identification walk
- Safe foraging and harvesting methods
- Wildcrafting with common herbs from the garden
- Herbal processing: Drying and storing methods
- Herbal processing Preparations overview, types of extractions, how/when appropriate to use
- In-depth 'how-to' demonstration and immersion of two selected herbal preparations
- Take home herbal preparations made in class

Lunch provided and herbal teas provided.
